In accordance with Section 2(2)(6) FWITRG and Section 11(1)(1) FTEG, FORWIT conducts a substantive review of the applications and, following a decision by the Council, issues a recommendation on the use of the Future Fund Austria’s funding for 2024.

The Board of Trustees of the National Foundation for Research, Technology and Development requested the Council for Science, Innovation, and Technology (FORWIT) to prepare a recommendation on the use of the funds from the Future Fund Austria (FZÖ) for the year 2024.

The beneficiaries’ applications were forwarded to the FORWIT office for review. The formal criteria of the submitted funding applications were reviewed jointly by the offices of the National Foundation and FORWIT.
