Future Fund Austria 2025
FORWIT draws up a recommendation on the allocation of funds from the Future Fund Austria, which serves as a strategic basis for the decisions of the National Foundation for Research, Technology and Development.
Focus
In accordance with Section 2(2)(6) FWITRG and Section 11(1)(1) FTEG, FORWIT conducts a substantive review of the applications and, following a decision by the Council, issues a recommendation on the use of the Future Fund Austria for 2025.
On 14 May 2025, the Board of Trustees of the National Foundation for Research, Technology and Development requested FORWIT to prepare a recommendation on the use of the funds from the Future Fund Austria (FZÖ) for the year 2025.
The beneficiaries’ applications were forwarded to the FORWIT office for review. The formal criteria of the submitted funding applications were reviewed jointly by the offices of the National Foundation and FORWIT.
