Applies to all pages and sites at the (sub) domains forwit.at, fti-monitor.forwit.at, ecto.forwit.at.
Web Server Log
Every access to the FORWIT websites is recorded in a log file (web server log) for a limited period of time with the following data:
- The visitor’s IP address
- Details about the request and its target address
- Name of the retrieved file and amount of data transferred
- Date and time of retrieval
- Message as to whether the call was successful
This data is used exclusively to check system security. There is no personalised analysis or profiling. Nevertheless, we reserve the right to analyse IP addresses in the event of attacks on FORWIT’s Internet infrastructure.

Matomo
The website uses Matomo to statistically analyse traffic without cookies. For this purpose, usage information is sent, whereby IP addresses are immediately anonymised. Therefore, no personal data is stored for statistical analyses.
Newsletter
You have the option of subscribing to our newsletter via our website. If you would like to receive our newsletter regularly, you must register with a valid e-mail address using the registration form on our website and give your consent. You will then receive an e-mail with a link to confirm your registration. With this so-called ‘double opt-in’ procedure, you confirm that the specified e-mail account really belongs to you. In this context, we store your e-mail address, your IP address, the time of registration, the confirmation and the consent text. We use the e-mail address you provide and the data stored in this context exclusively for the delivery of the newsletter.
The newsletter is sent using the newsletter plugin Noptin (from Noptin Newsletter, Brian Mutende) and Easy WP SMTP. As the software is operated locally, the data is not passed on to any provider. These plugins comply with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the legal data protection framework of the European Union.
If you no longer wish to receive the newsletter, please click on the unsubscribe link provided in every newsletter. We will then remove your data from the newsletter mailing list. For the event of a complaint, the data will remain stored in a deletion log for the duration of the limitation period in order to prove the legitimacy of the mailing.
